Jr. Digital Product Manager: Are you just getting started in your career but what you lack in experience you make up for in drive and a get-it-done attitude? Outreach, the parent company for the Outreach Media Group, is seeking a Jr. Digital Product Manager to impact literally millions of people around the world through their product development and creative skills. The Jr. Product Manager supports the Product Manager through the ongoing development of app and site features, roadmaps, U/I, and UX. The Outreach Media Group is responsible for producing millions of page views by Christian consumers, pastors, and church leaders around the world. Some of our websites include FaithIt, SermonCentral, ForEveryMom, and ChurchLeaders, just to name a few.

 

What Does a Jr. Digital Product Manager Do and What Do They Need To Know?

  • They have a familiarity with market research, consumer's behaviors, and marketing techniques
  • They know how to work with Wordpress and E-commerce
  • You have to be a self starter'willing to work hard to get things done
  • Possess creativity & innovation. There's always a new way to complete the goal
  • Has clear, concise, professional communication using tools like Slack, email, phone, and video
  • Is a team player--collaborates across departments & finds win/win solutions
  • Looks for the best way to accomplish a goal, including multi-variant testing
  • They'll be a fast learner: identifying a need and providing efficient solutions
  • They're organized and can, with guidance, prioritize the implementation of new features and set specific timelines

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelors Degree in relevant field
  • Knowledge of the Church
  • Typing: 50 WPM
  • 1-2 years experience in digital product management (or equivalent in project management)
  • 1-2 years  experience in digital marketing and underlying framework of an online marketing stack
