JOB SUMMARY:            

The core mission of the Digital Media Designer will be to work with the Web Properties Creative team to produce high-quality video content to better engage and equip the church with Christ-centered tools to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Delivers the following outcomes for the Outreach Media Group:           

  • Create 15 short video, motion graphic, and animated content projects per week that contribute to web properties quarterly goals
  • Clarify expectations and communicate accurate deadlines when projects start in order to complete projects on time with 95% success rate
  • Design and create graphics that contribute to our content and marketing teams' goals


  • Produce, shoot and edit high-quality video content
  • Illustrate and animate characters, props, and scenes to tell story-driven lessons in collaboration with various stakeholders
  • Design and produce motion graphic content for products used in churches across the country based on metrics and user demand.
    • Motion background videos
    • Countdown timers
    • Video Illustrations (short stories)
  • Design and produce motion graphic content and videos for marketing internal web properties 


  • Create editorial images to maximize the engagement of articles across properties.
  • Design social graphics to maximize the reach of content and marketing
  • Review video illustrations produced by external media contributors, provide quality control and feedback when appropriate
  • Design and create video display advertising for use on Google Ad Network
  • Continue learning and stay current with media trends and standards

  • Skill set should include:
    • Creativity, Animation, Video pre-production, Video lighting, Video editing
    • Graphic design, Storytelling, Vision, Developing creative standards
    • Proficiency with illustration tools, Multimedia, Audio editing
    • Skilled in current and relevant video production software and hardware.


  • 2-year degree (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
  • 2 - 3 years experience producing high-quality videos, animations, and/or motion graphics
  • Must know current media/video file formats and codecs
  • Must have an understanding of modern church culture 


  • Office work environment.
  • Occasional off-site video shoots indoors and outdoors
