The mission of the E-Commerce and Digital Marketing Manager is to provide leadership for the product sales growth and user experiences of Outreach Inc.'s OMP division websites, including Outreach.com, digital.outreach.com, backtochurch.com, churchdiscounts.com, churchprint.com, and others.


  • Manage and oversee the organization's e-commerce business efforts through revenue growth of core and digital products and services.
  • Increase web traffic to all sites through strategic email marketing, SEO, paid and organic social media marketing, and interpretation of analytics to drive strategy and decision making.
  • Increase website purchase conversions through effective merchandising, customer journeys, shopping cart upsells, retargeting in all available channels, and optimizing user funnels.
  • Plan, execute, measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to both identify trends and evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Supervise a team of web and email professionals


  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
  • Interact with the marketing team on the design and implementation of website marketing plans
  • Prepare and demonstrate presentations of various marketing strategies
  • Cooperate with the web developers to make necessary changes in the website if necessary
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, providing thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.


  • Management of an ecommerce website that did at least $5 million in annual sales
  • Possesses an understanding of the needs of churches and church leaders
  • Certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook Advertising
  • Advanced knowledge of web design principles including design for mobile platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Quantitative and user behavior analysis skills
  • Proficient in using data and insights to drive UI/X decisions
  • Ability to find and communicate simple solutions for solving complex problems
  • Background knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement


  • BS or MS Degree in marketing or a related field
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Two years experience in:
    • Supervisory role
    • Optimizing landing pages and user funnels
    • A/B and multivariate experiments
    • Setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns and optimizing Facebook ad campaigns
