The mission of the Web and Email Marketing Specialist is to implement effective marketing strategies across web pages and emails campaigns, based on designs from the creative team, and to update company websites with relevant marketing campaign content. These efforts, when enriched with learnings from A/B tests, will help to drive revenue and incremental growth for Outreach, so we can do more ministry!

OUTCOMES (Job Task, Metrics or Accountabilities):           

 Create or modify web pages, landing pages and responsive emails using HTML/CSS by following the design team's mockup or guidance

 Manage daily email sends, including creating the HTML/CSS, preparing sends, and creating or modifying related landing pages

 Own responsibility for continually improving metrics related to email marketing and web page views and conversion

 Derive and apply insights from data through A/B testing of emails and landing pages, develop drip campaigns, segmented lists, and automated  workflows

 Regularly update information and images on website(s) to support marketing campaigns

 Learn and effectively leverage all company technology platforms used for marketing

  Stay informed and apply best practices as they relate to email marketing and web page development and conversionWork with internal and  external vendors to schedule ads in display networks and on social media platforms

COMPETENCIES (Job Requirements, Skills, or Knowledge):              

  1-3 years hands-on experience building and deploying promotional and transactional emails, web pages, and landing pages based on design      mockup

  High proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Photoshop as they pertain to creating web page and responsive emails

  Demonstrated understanding of digital marketing concepts, performance analysis, and reporting tools such as Google Analytics

  Experience with major ESP's (Maropost a plus) and marketing automation technology

  Highly analytical thinking  

  Proficient with computers (Mac and/or PC), mobile devices and mobile technology, Microsoft Office and/or Google equivalents

  Detailed-oriented, able to work in deadline-driven, agile work environment

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  Capable of working with teams and independently, as required
