The Social Media Specialist will help manage social campaigns for new Church plants and existing churches to help equip them to reach their communities for Jesus Christ. MISSION (Job Summary):

The mission of the Social Media Specialist is to execute specific social media strategies and ad campaigns across social media networks, consult customers on social media best practices and strategies and monitor industry trends to help grow the digital product line. These efforts will help to drive revenue and incremental growth for Outreach.

OUTCOMES (Job Task, Metrics or Accountabilities):

Collaborate with Social Reach team (marketing & sales team) to continually improve product offerings
Create and manage Facebook ad campaigns with tight deadlines and turnaround time, ensuring targeted metrics and results are achieved for each customer
Consult with customers on the current state of their social media accounts and strategy, and work with them on improving individual results
Optimize Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns for customers to drive lowest cost and highest return for each event
Monitor and report on social media analytics and ad campaign results for each customer, and aggregate across customers
Monitor and apply relevant industry and social media trends to continually improve customer results
Act as subject matter expert in support of social media best practices and social campaigns

COMPETENCIES (Job Requirements, Skills, or Knowledge):

Proficiency and experience with building marketing campaigns utilizing:
Facebook Advertising
Instagram Advertising
Other tactics and through other social channels
Social media expertise, both content & management. Specific understanding of how social media platforms work, advertising models, and ways to reach specific targeted audiences through social media.
Analyze and provide insights from social data and analytics
Multitask and manage numerous projects in a fast-paced environment. Work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
Manage social media workflow & calendars for multiple campaigns for multiple customers
1-3 years of social media experience managing campaigns and analytics
Creative thinker, ability to be hands on and keep up with market trends
Strong organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to be flexible to adjust to changing needs
Ability to continually improve process and outcomes
Willingness and hunger to learn

Education: BS/BA in marketing, or related field (preferred), or equivalent work experience.
