Outreach Inc., the parent company for Outreach Media Group is seeking a professional product manager to impact literally millions of people around the world through their product development and innovative skills. Outreach Media Group is responsible for producing millions of page views by Christian consumers, pastors and church leaders around the world. Some of our product offerings are: FaithIt.com, SermonCentral.com, ForEveryMom.com, and ChurchLeaders.com. 

MISSION (Job Summary):           

This position is responsible for developing marketing and advertising copy for conversion-focused emails, landing pages, display ads, print ads, and other collateral as a part of the marketing team for the Web Properties department at Outreach, Inc. in fulfillment of the vision and mission of the company. 

OUTCOMES (Job Task, Metrics or Accountabilities):        

  • Partner with the marketing team to strategize and develop copy for 5-10 campaigns per month.
  • Provide copy as needed for multiple emails, landing pages, and ads each day.
  • Create multiple variants for key pieces with a focus on conversion optimization through a/b testing style, calls to action, and voice.
  • Deliver thoroughly proofed copy with speed and with minimal mistakes ... always with a clear leaning toward improving via key metrics and sales data.
  • Excellent copy as measured by edit time, error-free work, and market response.
  • Effective project management as measured by communication, reporting, milestones, positive attitude, and deadlines. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategize with marketing team to deliver new ideas and initiatives.
  • Take clear notes in meetings with respect to copy directives and delivery dates.
  • Communicate clearly and quickly with marketing team for fast and efficient delivery.
  • Deliver marketing copy as needed, often with multiple versions for the purpose of testing.
  • Write creative, persuasive, and audience-sensitive copy.
  • Seek to better understand our market (church leaders in addition to general Christian marketplace consumers). 

COMPETENCIES (Job Requirements, Skills, or Knowledge):           

  • Superior copywriting skills
  • Proficient in G Suite by Google (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc)
  • Detail oriented and finds great satisfaction in delivering quality work fast
  • Team player, able to interact well in person and via direct message apps
  • Loves to learn, grow and develop new skills
  • Ability to interact with HTML emails, Wordpress editor, and Unbounce a PLUS
